Navien Smart Plus uses 2-way communication on an 868 MHz radio frequency (RF) band to control the heating system. The wireless communication module (BCM-40RW) operates as the control centre of the system, and the Navien boilers (LCB700 or NCB-CE) support 2-wire communication (KIW) technology.
