Rear Window Sunshade

1 Hold to raise
2 Hold to lower
The switches are located on the
center console and between the
single rear seats.
The sunshade should always
be either fully raised or fully
lowered.

Trunk Lid Release Switch

The switch is located on the center
console.
A minimum height clearance of
5.9 ft (1.8 m) is required to open
the trunk lid.
To open the trunk, the vehicle must
be parked and unlocked. Press
symbol side of switch until trunk lid
is open.
With vehicle centrally locked, the
trunk can also be opened by using
the infrared remote control. Press
button | g .
Notes:
The trunk lid cannot be released by
the switch when previously locked
with the key. To open, refer to
Trunk, separately locked (in Index).

Shelf below Rear Window

Warning!
The shelf below the rear win­
dow should not be used to
carry objects. This will avoid
such objects from being
thrown about and injuring
vehicle occupants during an
accident or sudden maneuver.
