FEATURES
ESP
With a conventional portable CD player, you might have
experienced that the music stopped e.g. when jogging.
The ELECTRONIC SKIP PROTECTION protects against
loss of sound caused by vibrations and shocks.
Continuous playback is ensured. However, it does not
protect the set against any damage caused by
dropping!
• Switch the slider to ESP during playback to activate
the shock protection.
ESP is shown and the protection is activated.

• To deactivate the shock protection, switch the slider
to OFF .
ESP goes off and the protection is deactivated.
y
Note: When playing MP3 tracks, the display
automatically activated, regardless of the ESP switch setting.

Selecting different playing options – MODE
It is possible to play tracks in random order, to repeat a track or the CD and to play the
first few seconds of each track.
1 Press MODE during playback as often as necessary
until the display shows either:
: All tracks of the CD are played in random
y
SHUFFLE
order until all of them have been played once.
: All tracks of the CD are
y
SHUFFLE REPEAT ALL
played repeatedly in random order.
: The current track is played repeatedly.
y
REPEAT
: The entire CD is played repeatedly .
y
REPEAT ALL
SCAN: The first 10 seconds of each of the
y
remaining tracks are played in sequence.
2 Playback starts in the chosen mode after 2 seconds.
3 To return to normal playback, press MODE until the
display indication disappears.
