3. Battery precautions: Never burn Batteries, as they can explode in a fire. Do
not charge leaking Batteries. Only a qualified service technician should
perform maintenance on the Battery. Contact local solid waste authorities for
instructions on correct disposal or recycling of the Battery.
4. Internal Fuse replacement precaution: Ruling out a discharged Battery, a
blown 5 AMP Fuse is typically the cause if the Sprayer does not turn on, even
though the Trigger Lock is disengage in its "ON" position. The Fuse is an inter-
nal part of the Sprayer. Only a qualified technician should attempt to re-
place the Fuse.
5. To clean: If using liquid chemcials, flush the interior and clean the exterior of
the Sprayer thoroughly with cleaning agents recommended by the chemical
manufacturer. Do not use solvents. Do not immerse any part of the Pump &
Battery Housing in liquids.
6. When storing: Always completely empty the Sprayer of liquid. Frost will dam-
age the Sprayer if the unit contains liquid. Store the Sprayer indoors in a dry,
frost-free room. Minerals in the water can harden inside the workings. Flush the
unit with automotive antifreeze prior to long-term storage. Make sure to store
the Sprayer and any chemicals in a safe, dry, location out of reach of chil-
dren and untrained users.
