    Charging the battery pack Turn off your camcorder by closing the LCD monitor, retract the viewfinder*, and attach the battery pack. Battery pack * Models with the viewfinder (FDR-AX60) only Connect the AC Adaptor and the power cord (mains lead) to your camcorder and the wall outlet (wall socket).

     Charging the battery using your computer Turn off your camcorder and connect the Multi/Micro USB Terminal of the camcorder (page 44) to the USB jack of a computer using the micro USB cable. • Change the setting of your computer so that it would not enter the sleep (hibernation) state before charging your camcorder.
