Troubleshooting

If some of the troubleshooting actions suggested in this chapter cannot be performed, contact customer ser-
vice. The troubleshooting actions can be performed based on error codes displayed or symptoms displayed by
the NTI 105.

Based on symptoms

Symptom
Nitrogen pressure gauge displays
0 psi
No display
Filling rate of nitrogen is slow

R Disconnect the filling nozzle from the tire and connect it back to tire. Ensure
that the hose is connected to the digital outlet port.
R Check if there is leakage at the connector. If there is leakage, the clip should
be tightened.
Check the set pressure value. It should be equal to or lesser than 65 psi.
Contact customer service.
Contact customer service.
R Check tire pressure and ensure that it is within recommended range.
R Refer and execute actions described for error 1.
R Ensure sufficient tank pressure/inlet pressure during filling.
R Pressure sensor may not be functioning. Contact customer service.
Indication
No nitrogen in the nitrogen tank because of any
of the following reasons:
R Leakage at the CMS tank outlet.
R Failure of non-return valve.
R Bursting of the pneumatic pipe at the output
of CMS tank.
R End fittings of the nitrogen tank are loose.
R Safety valve is loosely connected.
R Burst or leakage in the pneumatic pipe at the
output of nitrogen tank.
R Leakage at the end fitting of pressure gauge.
5 VDC supply is not available because of any of
the following reasons:
R Check if the power cable is connected to the
mains supply.
R Power supply board has failed
R 5 VDC wire is disconnected from the terminal
block.
R LCD connector is disconnected from the con-
trol board.
R Control board has failed.
R Pressure of the compressed air supply to the
unit is less than 8 bar.
R Pressure of the compressed air supply is not
continuous.
R Flow rate of the incoming compressed air is
less than 120 lpm.

R Contact customer service to replace
the pneumatic pipe of the CMS tank.
R Contact customer service to replace
non-return valve.
R Tighten the end fittings of the nitro-
gen tank.
R Tighten the pressure relief valve and
check for leakage. If leakage persists,
contact customer service to replace the
pressure relief valve.
R Contact customer service to replace
the pneumatic pipe at the output of the
nitrogen tank.
R Contact customer service to replace
the power supply board.
R Connect the 5 VDC wire back to termi-
nal block.
R Connect the LCD connector to connec-
tor on the control board.
R Contact customer service to replace
the control board.
R For best performance, ensure that the
pressure of compressed air supply is
constantly in the range of 10 bar to 16
bar. Also, ensure that the flow rate is
120 lpm.
