While the download is being performed, the FTP Diagnostic window is
displayed with the current status of the download.
Once the operation has been performed, a final status notification and
instruction window will be displayed.
9. Follow the instructions displayed in the final instruction window.
10. Disconnect the NK8237 from the PC, and replace the cover.
11. Reset the Service PC IP address back to the original address.
Now the NK8237 is reachable from the DMS, and is ready to receive the full
configuration download, which is performed from Composer.
Creating the NK8237 firewall project
You create an NK8237 firewall project by restoring the default predefined NK8237
firewall project in Composer. Proceed as follows:
1. Click the Restore button in the Projects Management window.
The Restore window displays.
2. Click the Browse button in the line corresponding with File to be restored.
The Select Restore File window displays.
3. Select the file NK8237_Firewall.bak in the folder:
<InstallationDir>\Sample Projects
with the default installation folder being: C:\Program files\DMS8000 (assuming
an English version of Windows).
4. Click Open.
5. In the field Project name, enter a suitable name.
6. Click Restore.
A new NK8237 firewall project is created based on the predefined template.
Note: For a subsequent use, you may want to copy the NK8237_Firewall.bak file
in a folder location more convenient to locate.
