Preparing the condensed
water container for Steam care
During Steam care, the condensed
water collected in the condensed
water container is sprayed into the
drum via a spray jet. The condensed
water container must therefore be
filled with water to at least the –min–
marker. Otherwise, this could cause a
fault.
The –min– marker is at the front left-
hand side of the container.
Make use of the condensed water
which collects during the drying
process.
Filling the empty condensed water
container
 You can fill the condensed water
container with commercially available
condensed water (ironing water).
You should only use tap water in
exceptional cases. If tap water is used
frequently, the spray jet in the door
opening can become calcified.
Condensed water container
1 spout, 2 rubber seal
 Pour the water in through the rings on
the spout 1.
The spray jet in the door opening
may clog.
Only fill with clean water. Do not add
fragrances, detergents or other
substances.
Checking the rubber seal periodically
If tap water is used frequently, white
limescale deposits can build up on the
rubber seal 2.
 Use a damp cloth to carefully remove
any limescale deposits from the
rubber seal 2.
