Setting up the interactivity profile

This menu allows you to set up the interactivity
profile for MHP applications.

Setting up an external modem

Some MHP applications will require you to make
live responses to the program that is currently
being broadcast. For these cases, you can connect
an external modem to the tv (see page 22).
This menu allows you to set up the external
modem connection.
Recommended RS232 modems: Philips only
recommend modems which they have tested,
information on these is available from:
- the internet, address : www.philips.com/support
- the Philips help desk telephone number (see
separate guaranty booklet).
Other types of modem can not be guaranted by Philips.

applications can use an ISP provided by the
broadcaster.

disable call-waiting, use the string indicated in
the modem's manual.
Wait for a dial tone ?
modem type, you need to select
Idle time (minutes) before disconnect
prevent high telephone bills, you can adjust
the maximum idle time. It is advise to start
with 3 minutes.
Warning: your own ISP data are default values. If
the broadcaster provides a different ISP, Philips can
not guarantee what telephone cost will be charged.
