The measurement is terminated upon receipt of a Change Direction (CD) or End
Bracket (EB) indicator, which puts the terminal into send or contention state,
respectively. Specifically, the timer is stopped after the fast character of "Last in
Segment" of "Last in Chain" is processed.
The correlation between keyboard restore and the two indicators is shown in the
