HOW TO USE – FONDUE SETTING
1. Fill the compartments of the Food Tray with fruit, cookies, pretzels,
dried fruit, cake bits, etc.
2. Add ingredients for chocolate fondue in a heat resistant cookware
with flat bottom. Use the recipe below or use your own recipe.
3. Place the filled cookware on top of the Stainless Steel Cover.
4. Turn the Control Knob to the FONDUE position. The Indicator Light
will illuminate.
NOTE: The FONDUE setting operates at a lower power setting and
is ideal for chocolate melting or maintaining already melted chocolate
warm.
5. Stir frequently until ingredients are completely melted and smooth.
6. Once melted, it's ready to use. Place food on S'mores stick and dip
into chocolate.
IMPORTANT WARNINGS:
1. NEVER put saucepan directly on top of the element. The Stainless
Steel Cover should always be on the Stainless Base.
2. NEVER touch the Stainless Steel Cover with your hands after the unit
has been turned OFF. Always use oven mitts or potholders.
HELPFUL HINTS
1. Melting chocolate by itself may cause it to seize after a little while.
It is recommended to add a few teaspoons of vegetable oil to the
chocolate to keep it smooth.
2. Never add water to chocolate. This will also cause it to seize.
3. Brush fruits with a little lemon juice to keep them from turning brown.
