OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
This is the safety alert symbol used for the OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS section of this manual to alert you to potential personal
injury hazards. Obey all instructions to avoid possible injury or death.
IMPORTANT: Before attempting to raise any vehicle, check vehicle service manual for recommended lifting surfaces.
REMOVAL:
1. Make sure the tire is raised off the ground at a suitable clearance height to accept the wheel dolly's lift rollers. It may be necessary to
loosen the lug nuts that secure the wheel to the wheel hub before raising the tire/wheel off the ground.
2. Support the axle of the lifted wheel with adequate means before removal or installation,
3. Remove lug nuts that secure the tire/wheel combination to the vehicle's wheel hub.
4. Install the lift rollers in the holes of the dolly that are suitable for handling the applicable tire diameter size and secure the rollers in the dolly
with the lock pins provided.
5. Roll the dolly under the tire so the two lift rollers straddle the circumference of the tire and the tire's side wall touches the dolly's stop wheel.
6. Tilt the dolly's handle down just enough for the wheel's lug holes to clear the drum's lug bolts. Use one hand to support the top of tire and
the other hand on the dolly's handle, and pull the loaded dolly away from the wheel drum.
INSTALLATION:
1. Roll the tire/wheel combination onto the dolly's lift rollers and make sure the tire's side wall is up against the dolly's stop wheel. Support the
top of the tire with one hand and use the other hand to tilt the dolly's handle down enough to roll the loaded dolly towards the wheel hub.
2. Align the wheel's lug holes with the hub's lug bolts by slightly rotating the tire. Raise or lower the tire by manipulating the dolly's handle and
push the dolly in towards the hub until the wheel is supported by the hub lug bolts.
3. Thread one lug nut on the top lug bolt to temporarily hold the tire/wheel on the hub and back the dolly away from the hub.
4. Thread the remaining lug nuts on the lug bolts and tighten to the required torque rating.
