IRON WON'T
HEAT?
CARE OF THE IRON
EMPTYING THE IRON
1. Turn the Temperature
Selector Dial to O/FILL.
2. Set the Adjustable
Steam/Dry Dial to the
DRY position, and
unplug the iron.
3. Empty the water by
holding the iron over a
sink with the tip pointing
downward (Figure E).
Water will empty out the Water Fill
Hole.
4. If all the water hasn't drained,
repeat the emptying process.
CLEANING THE OUTSIDE
SURFACES
1. Allow the iron to cool com-
pletely.
2. Wipe the outer shell and non-
stick coated soleplate with a cloth
dampened in water and a mild
household detergent. Never use
abrasives, heavy-duty cleansers,
or scouring pads on the non-stick
coating.
1. Is the iron plugged in? Press
the PUSH ON Button in.
2. If it still doesn't heat, will a
lamp plugged into the outlet turn
on?
