    CHARGING THE English RECHARGEABLE BATTERY When using the rechargeable battery for the first time, charge it until the CHARGE lamp turns off. 1 Insert the rechargeable battery with the 0 and 9 marks correctly aligned. Charging will not start if the battery is not inserted first.

    • Do not disassemble the battery, heat it or put it in water. • The supplied rechargeable battery can be recharged approximately 300 times. Using on dry-cell battery Use the 8B-HM3-953-11 dry-cell battery case (not supplied). On purchase and details, consult your nearest aiwa dealer.

    BASIC OPERATION English 1 Load a disc with the label side a up and in the direction of the arrow b. Insert the disc completely until it clicks. 2 Press l/s. 3 Adjust the volume. To stop playback, press l/s. When playing the disc the next time, playback will start from that point.
