(1) Execute this check on the Frame ASSY Process.
(2)Check if TV turns stand-by mode while you make be
shorten R417 and R418 in Main PCB
(Check if JIG must be prepared parallel 30KΩ with R417).
7. Focus Adjustment
7-1. Preliminary steps
(1) Receive PAL-B/G 07CH(PAL/C-8).(Cross hatch pattern
signal) likes fig.2.
(2) Set the picture mode to Standard or clear.
7-2. Adjustment
(1) Adjust the Focus Volume of FBT for the best focus of area
(A).

8. Purity and Convergence adjustment
for NO-ITC CPT (Option)
Because normally we use ITC-adjusted CPT, we don't need to
adjust purity and convergence.
But if needed, this adjustment should be done as instruction.
Please, refer to purity and convergence adjustment manual.
9. Screen Voltage Adjustment
9-1. Preliminary Steps
(1) Turn the power supply of the TV set on.
(2) The set must be operated for about 15 minutes prior
to the adjustment.
9-2. Adjustment
(1) Adjust in the condition of no RF signal or after
receiving the signal.
(2) Press ADJ key on the Remote controller and enter
the Screen Mode to make horizontal line.
Turn the Screen Volume not to see one horizontal line
and turn oppositely until it starts to display.
Notice: It must be adjusted at suitable area (PAL/NTSC)

10. Component ADC Gain/Offset
Adjustment
(1) Signal equipment displays
- Output Voltage: 730 mVp-p
- Impress Resolution: 480p
(2) Test Pattern
- MODEL: 107 in Pattern Generator (480p Mode, Y:
100%, Pb/Pr : 75%)
- PATTERN: 33 in Pattern Generator (MSPG-925 Series)
(Color Bar Pattern signal)
(3) Adjustment
1) Convert input mode into Component.
2) Press the ADJ key to enter the adjustment mode, and
then enter into "Auto-RGB."
3) Run "Auto-RGB" to adjust ADC gain and offset by
pressing
"Reset".

11. White Balance adjustment

Do screen adjustment first. Basically this adjustment is
executed automatically.
For manual adjustment, refer to the following procedure.
11-1. Test Equipment
(1) Automatic White Balance meter (Can generate
Low/Highlight pattern): Automatic adjustment
(2) White Balance meter (CRT color Analyzer, CA-100)
(3) Remote controller for adjustment
11-2. Preliminary Steps
(1) Tune the TV set to receive a 100% white pattern.
(2) Do screen adjustment first.
11-3. Preliminary Steps
(1) White Balance should be adjusted with white balance
meter or the remote controller.
(2) Press the ADJ key to enter the adjustment mode, search
for RGB W-B mode with CH
key.
(3) Adjust the item with CH
(4) Adjust the data with VOL
(5) Adjustment Procedure
1) Adjust "CONTRAST" and "BRIGHT" so the bright level to
be 137 ± 10 cd/m
2) Select RD(R-DRIVE) and adjust y coordinate in high light
and select BD (B-DRIVE) and adjust x coordinate
so the color coordinates in High light as to be the values
in [Table 1] below.
3) Adjust "CONTRAST" and "BRIGHT" so the bright level to
be 15 ± 10 cd/m
4) Select RC (R-CUTOFF) and adjust y coordinate in low
light and select BC (B-CUTOFF) and adjust x coordinate
so the color coordinates in Low light as to be the values
in [Table 1] below.
5) Repeat 1)~ 4) until the color coordinates in high and low
color satisfies the [Table 1].
6) Check the adjusted color coordinates with the white
balance meter.
