  • Page 2 English Opening the keyboard: 1 Hold the unit in your hands and slide the button down to open the case. 2 Unfold the keyboard and set it on a flat surface. 3 Slide the left and right key panels with red end-grips, inward to bring the keyboard sections completely together.
  • Page 3 English Battery Installation: 1 Remove the battery door by placing your thumb on the top of the door and your index finger underneath the door lip and prying out and up. 2 Insert one (1) AAA battery (included) inside the battery compartment being sure to note the polarity.
  • Page 4 English Setting up the device stand: 1 With the underside of the open keyboard facing up, place your finger in the cutout and lift the stand out. 2 Flip up the device back rest. The first detent is for devices in landscape mode, stand_landscape.ai the second is for devices in portrait mode.
  • Page 5 English Closing the keyboard: 1 With the unit on a flat surface, slide the red end-grips apart and toward the outside edge of the case. Make sure to slide the keyboard sections as wide apart as possible. 2 Lift the keyboard and push up from under the center to form a “W” , and then close.
  • Page 6 Windows users: 1 Connect your Palm OS device to a computer using the HotSync® cradle or cable. 2 Insert the CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive on your PC. Click on the buttons: Stowaway Sierra > Palm > English > Keyboard Driver.
  • Page 7 2 At the Status page, press the Options button, and select Enable BT. 3 Place the keyboard in discoverable mode. 4 Connection and Scanning to discover the Stowaway keyboard should begin within a few seconds. If necessary, select the Think Outside Keyboard from the list and press Connect.
