Troubleshooting the Oscillator Circuit
If there is no signal at A2 Pin 5, isolate "the Peak
c.
Detector by lifting one side of A2e ! ! and the
A2Q7, If the oscillator comes on, check the Peak Detector
components. If there is no apparent fault in the Peak
Detector, it is possible that A2R
value, this is likely to occur if other components (such as
A2CR6, A2CR7. A2Q2, and A2Q3) havc been replaced. To

c'heck this reconnect the peak detector, fepbee A2R16*
Xl K
with a ohm potentiometer, switch the 652A to the
range and vary the value of the potentiometer, while
tuning the dial over its entire range.
