Removing the SIRIUS infeed system for 3RA6 from a DIN rail
The infeed system for 3RA6 is either installed on a DIN rail or on a level surface (screw
fastening). The removal process is basically the same for both mounting types. The only
difference between the two is how the extension modules are fastened. As the infeed
system for 3RA6 is meant to be mounted on a DIN rail as standard, the information below
describes removal from a DIN rail.
Requirements
Danger, high voltage!
Electrical voltage can result in electric shocks or burns.
Before starting work, disconnect the system and devices from the power supply.
● The terminal blocks must have been disconnected.
● The compact starters and circuit breakers must have been removed.
● The PE infeed and PE tap must have been removed.

Instructions
Pull the screw-type infeed down until it
can be pulled away from the DIN rail.
Pull the screw-type infeed away from
the DIN rail and lift it off the DIN rail's
upper edge.
