Ensure the switch is in the off‐position before connecting to battery pack, picking up or carrying the tool.

In this case, always contact your Hilti Service. ▶ If the battery is too hot to touch it may be defective. In this case, place the product in a non-flammable location, well away from flammable materials, where it can be kept under observation and allowed to cool down.

  • Page 10 1. Release the side handle clamping band by turning the handle grip. 2. Slide the side handle clamping band over the chuck from the front and into the recess provided. 3. Adjust the side handle to the desired position. 4. Tighten the side handle clamping band by turning the handle grip. Removing the chuck When changing the chuck, set the function selector switch to this position: Remove the battery from the tool.

    1. Lightly grease the connection end of the accessory tool. ◁ Use only genuine Hilti grease. Using the wrong grease can result in damage to the tool. 2. Push the accessory tool into the chuck as far as it will go (until it engages).
