F5
Regardless of which menu is cur-
rently active, pressing F5 always
takes you to the Settings menu.
If the system is in standby mode,
pressing F5 activates it.
F6 - F8
The functions of F6 - F8 change
from menu to menu and are de-
scribed accordingly in the sec-
tions below. The current function
always appears in the field to the
left of the softkey.
Active functions
The field corresponding to a
softkey goes green to indicate
that the function currently as-
signed to the softkey is active.
Speaker muting, encryption and
emergency-call functions activ-
ated in the submenus are indic-
ated by symbols 2 in the top-
most menu.
Automatic return
The system automatically returns
to the main menu if no key is
pressed within a preset time.
