with Consumer.
Introduction
These instructions cover the installation of the standard
walls. Fasteners are field supplied. The air conditioner and
unassembled. It must be field assembled prior to installation.
IMPORTANT: DO NOT remove thermal insulation from
sleeve.

Note to Consumer – Keep these instructions for
future reference.
Skill level – Installation of this appliance requires
basic mechanical and electrical skills.
Subbase Installations
When installing a subbase to support the sleeve or an
electrical receptacle for the power cord, the sleeve must
project a minimum of 2 3/4 inches into the room to have room
for the subbase and receptacle box. The sleeve must be
installed between 3 1/4 to 5 1/2 inches (maximum) above floor
(including carpeting).
IMPORTANT: If the sleeve projects more than 4 inches into a
room, the maufacturer recommends that a subbase or leveling
or cantilevering into the room.
Wall Preparation

Masonry Walls: Create the recommended minimum wall
support block or bricks above wall opening. The sleeve should
supplied). If the opening is framed in wood, use wood screws
to secure the sleeve.
Curtain Walls: Use case angles to create the recommended
installations such as curtain walls, window walls, or where the
structural material of the wall is insufficient to support or fasten
the wall sleeve to. Case angles are pieces of steel or similar
material that are formed to a 90° angle. Add holes to fasten the
case angle to the sleeve and to the structural component of
the wall Do not drill holes into the bottom of the sleeve.
