The images captured with the camera are not clear
Shooting under fluorescent light may produce reflections.
Red or green noise may occur if the captured images include dark
portions.
If you import a still image of resolution 640 x 480, the image may
appear grainy.
The viewing image and the captured image may differ when you
import a still image of size 640 x 480.
Check that the lens of the camera lens is clean.
Use the focus ring to adjust the focus.
There are picture gaps and sound gaps when importing video images
If you are shooting using a battery pack, use the AC profile in
PowerPanel. See the PowerPanel software help file for details.
Gaps may occur due to the effect settings in the Smart Capture
software. See the online help of the Smart Capture help file for
details.
The camera does not show any images
Check that you are not using any other application, such as Smart
Capture, which is using the camera. If the camera still does not show
any images, restart your computer.
Pressing Ctrl+Alt+Delete or turning off the computer with the power
switch may result in data loss in files that are currently open.
I cannot record using Smart Capture, Smart Write, or Smart Label

Double-click

Select Properties from the Option menu.

Check Record and Microphone, and click OK.

Uncheck "Mute" in microphone if it is checked.
Smart Write and Smart Label do not start
Reinstall the software using the Application Recovery CD.
