Problem
No picture.
Cannot receive any channels.

Possible remedies
• Make sure the power cord is connected securely.
• Turn on the power of the TV.
• Check antenna/cable connections.
• Set "Cable" to "Off" in the

Self-diagnosis function
The TV is equipped with a self-diagnosis function. If
there is a problem with your TV, the
(Standby/Sleep) indicator on the front panel will
flash repeatedly in red. Writing down the duration of
flashes and interval between flashes helps you
inform qualified Sony personnel of the TV's
condition.

Measure how long the
indicator flashes and stops flashing.
For example, the indicator flashes for 2 seconds,
stops flashing for 1 second, and flashes for 2
seconds.

Press
(power) on the TV to turn it off, and

disconnect the power cord, then inform qualified
Sony personnel or the Direct Response Center/
Customer Relations Center of how the indicator
flashes (duration and interval).
