    - Never use a chain block or any other overhead lifting equipment for lifting persons. - Never use a chain block in wet, explosive or corrosive enviroments. UNPACKING & CHECKING PACKAGING After removing the packing material, make sure the product is in perfect condition and that there are no visible damaged parts.

    HEALTH & SAFETY INFORMATION Always ensure that the product is fully inspected before every use, this will prevent damage or serious injury to person. FREQUENT INSPECTION A visual inspection is to be carried out by a trained person before every use. This inspection should consist of: - Evidence of slippage on the braking mechanisms.

    NOTE: The ambient operating temperature of this chain block is between –10° C and +50° C. MOUNTING THE CHAIN HOIST (Fig.1.): Ensure that the hook sits over the holding beam of a secure beam clamp or dolly. The secure latch should be in the closed position once the unit is hung.
