Breakdown Assist

Vehicle equipment
This chapter describes all standard, country-spe‐
cific and special equipment available for the
model series. It may therefore describe equip‐
ment and functions which are not installed in
your vehicle, for example on account of the op‐
tional equipment selected or the country specifi‐
cation. This also applies to safety-relevant func‐
tions and systems. Please comply with the
relevant laws and regulations when using the
corresponding functions and systems.
Hazard warning lights
The button is located in the centre console.
Warning triangle
The warning triangle is in the boot.
To remove, undo the Velcro fastener.

First-aid kit
General
Some items in the kit have a limited shelf life.
Check the use-by dates of the contents regularly
and replace any items that have expired in good
time.
Storage
The first-aid kit is located in the left storage com‐
partment of the boot.
BMW breakdown
assistance
Principle
BMW Group breakdown assistance can be con‐
tacted if you require help in the event of a break‐
down.
General
In the case of a breakdown, data on the vehicle
condition can be transferred to the BMW break‐
down assistance. It is possible that malfunctions
can be remedied directly.
Contact with BMW breakdown assistance can
also be made via a Check Control message, see
page 148.
