Battery Installation
CAUTION
The lithium hattery must he replaced with Part
Number 62X0339. Use of another battery could
result in ignition or explosion of the hattery.
Replacement batteries can be ordered from an
IBM authorized dealer.
CAUTION
The lithium battery presents a fire, explosion, or
severe hum risk. Do not recharge, remove the
polarized connector, disassemble, heat above
100°C (212°F), incinerate, or expose contents to
water.

Turn off the system unit and all external options.
Remove the screw and open the battery
compartment door.
