Locating a Specific Track

You can quickly locate any track while playing a disc
using the JOG SELECTOR, ≠/± buttons (AMS:
Automatic Music Sensor) or number buttons.
Note that while playing a VIDEO CD with PBC
functions, this function is available only during
playback without PBC functions (PBC OFF, page 26).

When you directly locate a track numbered over 15 Z
Press >15 first, then the corresponding number buttons.
To enter "0," use button 10.
Example: To play track number 30
Press >15 first, then 3 and 10.

What is a track?
A disc is divided into sections of a picture or a music
piece called "tracks." Each track is assigned with a track
number to locate the track you want.
Note
During PBC Playback, the JOG SELECTOR, = and +
buttons have different functions from the ones explained in
the left column.
