There are times when Lenovo support needs to access your switch in maintenance
mode. To enable this, enter the command:
NE2552E(config)# maint-internal
When prompted, enter the admin password.
The Lenovo support person will then enter the maintenance mode password.
This introduces a second level of administration authorization before the Lenovo
support representative enters the maintenance mode password, making the switch
more secure and available for enhanced debugging.
