, TO REMOVE THE BATTERY:

• Ensure the trimmer is discharged of all power.
• Pry the trimmer head out using a single sided screwdriver.
• Using a small screwdriver, unscrew 2 screws on the back housing of the
trimmer.
• Pry the front of the trimmer away using a single side screwdriver.
• Pry the circuit board holder from the back using the single side screwdriver
so you can see the circuit board and batteries.
• Destroy the circuit board using a wire cutter, cut the tabs on both ends of
the battery assembly and remove the circuit board.
• The battery is to be disposed of safely.
