SELECTIVE CALL

Making a Selective Call

You can make a selective call, provided the
signalling system supports it, to a particular
radio or a particular group of radios.

Receiving a Selective Call

When you receive a selective call, you will hear
two (2) alert tones, and the LED Indicator will
blink (yellow). The LCD will display the

To answer the call, just press the PTT.

CALL ALERT

If your call to a radio is unanswered, you can
leave a page for the person. This is a Call Alert.
Any radio receiving a Call Alert will sound four
alert tones continually and display the
until a response is made. Just press the PTT to
answer the Call Alert, or any other key to cancel
it.
