Image Size/Panorama Image Size The image size determines the size of the image file that is recorded when you take a image. The larger the image size, the more detail will be reproduced when the image is printed on large- format paper.

Page 53 On “image quality” and “image size” A digital image is made up of a collection of small dots called pixels. If it contains a large number of pixels, the image becomes large, it takes up more memory, and the image is displayed in fine detail. “Image size” is shown by the number of pixels. Although you cannot see the differences on the screen of the camera, the fine detail and data processing time differ when the image is printed or displayed on a computer screen.

The Face Detection frame for the main subject will changes to an orange-colored frame for which the focus is set will turn green when the shutter button is pressed halfway down.

The remaining charge indicator is incorrect. • This is caused when you use the camera in an extremely hot or cold location. • A discrepancy arose between the remaining charge indicator and the actual remaining battery charge. Fully discharge the battery pack once, then charge it to correct the indication. Depending on conditions of use, the display may remain incorrect.
Page 141 Anti-blur function does not work. • The anti-blur function may not work properly when shooting night scenes. • Shoot after pressing the shutter button halfway down. Recording takes a long time. • When the shutter speed becomes slower than a certain speed, for example, when you shoot images in dark locations, the camera automatically reduces the image noise.
