About Index Marks

Index Marks are like bookmarks on your VHS tapes that help you easily find the start of any recording. Index Marks are inserted
automatically during standard recording, one-touch recording, timer recording, or copying. You can also place Index Marks manu-
ally anywhere on a tape by pressing the SEARCH button while a recording is in progress. Later you can search or scan for these
bookmarks in the Search Menu.
