• If you don't have a memory card, you
can copy files from your computer to
your phone via Bluetooth (page 55) or
by using Motorola Phone Tools
(page 60).
• Your phone supports microSD memory
cards with up to 2 GB capacity (greater
than 1 GB capacity is guaranteed only
for SanDisk microSD cards).

1 Open the memory card slot cover on the
top of your phone (see page 3).
2 Slide the memory
card into the card
slot until it clicks.

3 Replace the memory card slot cover.
To remove the card, press it once quickly to
release it from the slot, and then pull it out.
Do not remove your memory card while your
phone is using it or writing files on it.
format memory card
Note: You must format a memory card before
using it for the first time. This procedure is
critical because it creates the "Mobile" and
"Motorola" directories. If you do not format a
memory card before using it for the first time,
your phone may not be able to read the
contents of the card.
Caution: Formatting the memory card will
erase all content currently stored on the card.
