These connectors connect to Serial ATA 6Gb/s hard disk drives via Serial ATA 6Gb/s
signal cables.
If you installed Serial ATA hard disk drives, you can create a RAID 0, 1, 5, and 10
configuration with the Intel
Z390 chipset.

These connectors are set to [AHCI] by default. If you intend to create a Serial ATA
RAID set using these connectors, set the SATA Mode item in the BIOS to [Intel RST
Premium With Intel Optane System Acceleration (RAID)].

Configuration Guide which you can find at https://www.asus.com/support.
When a device in SATA mode is installed on the M.2_1 socket, SATA_2 port cannot
be used.
When a device is installed on the M.2_2 socket, SATA_5/6 port cannot be used.
