F. Appliance Break-in
Initial Break-in Procedure
When you light the appliance, you may notice that
it produces heat which does have an associated
odor or smell. This appliance should be run three
to four hours on the initial start-up. Turn it off and
let it cool completely.
WARNING! Risk of Fire or Burns! Provide
adequate clearance for service access. Due to
high temperatures, the appliance should be
located out of traffic and away from furniture
and draperies.
WARNING! DO NOT place combustible objects
in front of the fireplace. High temperatures could
start a fire.
G. Wall Control
Wall Control Operation
The Courtyard series appliance comes standard
with a rocker switch located inside of the outdoor
control box. See Figure 3.3
On/Off – This switch toggles the On/Off function
of the main burner
On Position: Appliance will ignite main burner
and run continuously (wall rocker switch).
Off Position: Appliance main burner off
CAUTION! Risk of Electric Shock! Avoid
touching wires and electrical components in
appliance control cavity.
