System Contents
Your TERK LFIRX2 Remote Control Extender consists of two units
(Transmitter(TX) Receiver (RX)), an infrared extension, and two AC
adapters.
Transmitter (TX): The Transmitter converts the infrared
signals from your remote control into long-range RF (radio
frequency) signals that are sent to the Receiver. The LED
lights when the unit is powered and flashes during signal
transmission. The unit has a built-in antenna.
Receiver (RX): The Receiver converts the RF (radio
frequency) signals from the Transmitter back to the
infrared signals used to control your components. The unit
has a built-in antenna and a jack for an Infrared Extension.
The LED lights when the unit is powered and flashes during
signal transmission. The Receiver Unit can be placed up to
12V

100 feet away from the Transmitter Unit.
Infrared Extension: The Infrared Extension can be used in
situations where the Receiver can not be placed in front of
the component(s) it is controlling. This device consists of 1
Infrared diode connected to a 10 ft. extension wire and plug.

    Troubleshooting: 1. Make sure both units are plugged into a standard electrical outlet. 2. If the LED light inside the Transmitter does not flash when the Remote Control is operated: • Make sure you are pointing at the front of the Transmitter (the remote sensor is on the front).
