The scart or Euro-AV cable serves as the universal
recording and playback connector for picture-, sound-
and control signals.With this type of connection, there
is practically no loss of quality during the signal
transfer. We recommend that you use a scart cable
when using this video recorder.
Insert a cassette without erase protection
Make sure that the satellite receiver is
connected to the scart socket A A V V 1 1 E E X X T T . . 1 1 or
A A V V 2 2 E E X X T T . . 2 2 at the back of the video recorder
Press the M M E E N N U U button on the remote
control.The on-screen menu appears
Use = = P P - - or ; ; P P + + to select the option
“RECORDING FUNCTIONS”
with P
Use = = P P - - or ; ; P P + + to select the option
“RECORD SETTINGS” and confirm with P
Use = = P P - - or ; ; P P + +
“SAT RECORDING” and use P
select the scart socket (“E1” or “E2”), to
which the satellite receiver has been
connected (see step

Leave the on-screen menu with M M E E N N U U
Programme the data on the satellite receiver
for the desired recording. If necessary, you
should refer to the instructions for your
satellite receiver for assistance.
