This model phone meets the ACA(Australian
Communication Authority) requirements
(AS/NZS 2772) for exposure to radio waves.
Your mobile phone is a radio transmitter and receiver.
It is designed and manufactured not to exceed the
limits for exposure to radio-frequency(RF) energy
recommended by the ACA. These limits are part of
comprehensive guidelines and establish permitted
levels of RF energy for the general population. The
guidelines were developed by independent scientific
organisations through periodic and through
evaluation of scientific studies. The limits include a
substantial safety margin designed to ensure the
safety of all persons, regardless of age and health.
The exposure standard for mobile phones employes a
unit of measurement known as SAR(the Specific
Absorption Rate). The SAR limit recommended by the
ACA is 1.6W/Kg *.
* The SAR limit for mobile phones used by the public is 1.6 watts/kilogram (W/kg) averaged
over one gram of body tissue. The limit incorporates a substantial margin of safety to give
