Tone Dialing
Saving an Access Code
On some networks it may be necessary to add a prefix,
such as "9" , before the telephone numbers for external
calls.
Press Menu.

Scroll to Base Settings and press OK.

Scroll to Spec. Functions and press OK.

Scroll to Access Code and press OK.
Y
Enter the number (up to 3 digits).
Press Menu.

Scroll to Save Entry and press OK.
When storing numbers in the directory (see
page 26) you must enter the prefix.
For example: 9 555 2222.
The code that you store here is always inser-
ted and dialed automatically before the tele-
phone numbers in the caller list and the emer-
gency numbers.
Switching To Temporary Tone Dialing
If your network operates with pulse dialing but tone di-
aling (DTMF) is required (for example, to check the
mailbox), you must switch to tone dialing (DTMF) dur-
ing the call.
Prerequisite: You are conducting a call!
Press Menu.

Scroll to Tone Dialing and press OK – tone dialing is
now on.
