About Monster IR Control Technology
Your Monster HD PowerCenter features IR (infrared) technology that lets you control all your home theater
AV components while keeping them out of sight for an ultra-clean home theater appearance. The PowerCenter
does this by receiving your remote control's commands and distributing them to your audio and video components
via the included IR emitter cables.

NOTE: A wide-angle IR receiver eye is also present in the front of the High Definition PowerCenter. You may use this
as an alternative to the external IR receiver.
