Apps and notifications

Manage the device's apps and change the notification settings for each app.
On the Settings screen, tap Apps and notifications.
• A ll apps: Access the list of the applications installed on the device and check application
information.
• N otifications: Change the notification method for each app.
• A pp permissions: View the list of features and apps that have permission to use them.
You can also edit the permission settings. Refer to
information.
• D efault apps: Select a default setting for using apps.
• S pecial access: Set the device to use the app without data restriction.

Display

Options
Change the display settings.
On the Settings screen, tap Display.
• B rightness: Adjust the brightness of the display.
• O utdoor mode: Activate outdoor mode to make the display easier to see in bright
conditions.
• F ont size: Change the font size.
• W allpaper: Select a background image for the Home screen and the locked screen.
• S how battery percentage: Set the device to display the remaining battery life.
• N avigation bar: Change the order of the buttons on the navigation bar.
• S creen timeout: Set the length of time the device waits before turning off the display's
backlight.
• S creensaver: Set the device to launch a screensaver when the device is charging or
connected to a dock.
