DO NOT plug into the electrical supply
until the assembly is complete. Failure
to do so could result in electrlcal shock
or injury.
Before assembling the vacuum cleaner,
check the PACKING LIST. (Page 2) Use this
list to verify that you have received all the
components of your new Kenmore
vacuum cleaner.
HANDLE
CAUTION
Do not overtighten.
Overtlghtening could strip the screw
holes.
Do not operate the vacuum cleaner
w_thout the screw in place.
DO NOT plug in until assembly is
complete.
1. Remove handle screw from handle.

'2. Insert handle with locking notch to the
back of the vacuum cleaner as shown.
3. Insert handle screw.
4. Tighten handle screw.
