Charge the system and turn the power on
Charge the battery
Connect your system to the AC adapter as shown below (see page 9 for details).
Logo faces up
Turn the power on
Press the Power Button (POWER).

Swing prongs out
Recharge LED will light up.
It will turn off when the battery
is fully charged.
The stylus is used to control actions on the
lower Touch Screen.
Slide the stylus from the stylus holder on the bottom of
the Nintendo 2DS.

Configure your basic system settings
First select a language. Then you will need to configure the basic system settings listed below. Using the
stylus on the lower screen, follow the on-screen instructions. If a child will be using the Nintendo 2DS
system, an adult should assist with these settings.

Internet Settings
Parental Controls

Play a game on a Game Card
NOTE: A Game Card should only be inserted or removed from the Game Card slot when the power is turned
off, or when the HOME Menu is displayed after exiting the software.
