^ EC (ECONOMY) = Economical setting; the air
conditioning com pressor stays off.
In any other setting, the air conditioning com pressor
com es on with ambient tem peratures above + 2 ° C /
36° F.
We recom m end this setting to be used with cool outside
tem peratures so that the air conditioning com pressor
stays off in order to save fuel.
In the ventilation mode, air is em itted from nozzles (1)
and (2).
In the heating mode, warm air is primarily supplied to the
fo o t area. Only an am ount of air sufficient to prevent fog
build-up under normal clim atic conditions will be
channeled to the windshield and the movable (2). At
tim es, air will be em itted from the movable (1).
With cold outside tem peratures, the fresh air supply and
the fan remain turned o ff until the engine coolant has
warmed up slightly.

We recom m end this setting with humid and warm
outside tem peratures.
The setting ^ corresponds with setting @ but, in
addition, the air can be cooled or heated as necessary.
