For detailed operating and safety information, please refer to your Owner’s Manual. BASIC OPERATION Lock/Unlock doors Remote keyless entry system All doors, the rear gate and fuel lid will be locked. The driver’s door will be unlocked. (To unlock all doors, the rear gate and fuel lid briefly press the button a second time within 5 seconds.) Press the button to open the rear gate. -

Illumination brightness control dial Turn the dial to adjust the illumination brightness of the instrument panel. To brighten, turn the control dial upward. To darken, turn the control dial downward. When the control dial is turned fully upward, the illumination brightness becomes the maximum and the automatic dimming function does not work at all. -

BSD/RCTA The BSD/RCTA consists of rear radar with Blind Spot Detection and Rear Cross Traffic Alert. These functions enable the system to detect objects or vehicles to the rear, drawing attention to the driver when changing a lane or when driving in reverse.

X-MODE has the following functions. Hill descent control function: Using this function, you can keep the vehicle at a consistent speed driving downhill. If the vehicle speed is likely to increase, the brake control system will be activated to adjust the vehicle speed. Lane Departure Warning OFF switch Press and hold this switch for approximately 2 seconds or longer to turn off the Lane Departure Warning and Lane Sway Warning functions. Lane Departure Warning This function warns the driver if the system detects that the vehicle is likely to depart the traffic lane when the vehicle speed is approximately 50 km/h (30 MPH) or more. -

Some warning/indicator lights illuminate for a few seconds in order to check themselves when the ignition switch is turned ON.
