  • Page 3 INTRODUCTION Thank you for purchasing the VTech My 1 Tablet ® The My 1 Tablet by VTech is just the right size for little hands. ® There are eight learning games that teach letters, words, numbers, counting, puzzles and more. The tablet also features four special interactive games, including question time.

    BATTERY NOTICE • Use new alkaline batteries for maximum performance. • Use only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended. • Do not mix different types of batteries: alkaline, standard (carbon- zinc) or rechargeable (Ni-Cd, Ni-MH), or new and used batteries. • Do not use damaged batteries. • Insert batteries with the correct polarity. • Do not short-circuit the battery terminals. • Remove exhausted batteries from the toy. • Remove batteries during long periods of non-use. • Do not dispose of batteries in fire. • Do not charge non-rechargeable batteries. • Remove rechargeable batteries from the toy before charging (if removable).

    PRODUCT FEATURES 1. ON/OFF BUTTON The button will turn the unit ON. Pressing the power button again will turn the unit OFF. 2. Activity Slider Move the slider to choose an activity: Photo Fun, My Piano, Ask Me and Calendar Check. 3. 8 ACTIVITY BUTTONS Press one of the 8 activity buttons to go to an activity. VOLUME BUTTON To adjust the volume, press the volume button and a pop-up screen will appear.

    PIANO & NUMBER BUTTONS 7. 10 You can press the piano & number keys to play piano tunes in the piano activity or input numbers in the number related activities. BACKLIGHT BUTTON Press this button to turn the screen backlight on or off. REPEAT BUTTON Press this to hear a question or instruction again.

Photo Fun Press a letter button and it will pretend to take a picture of the word beginning with that letter and show a fun animation.

    3. Ask Me Have great fun answering questions! My 1 Tablet will ask funny questions and you need to press the Arrow buttons to select your answer and press the OK button to confirm your choice. Then the My Tablet replies to your choice. 4.

    10. Number Bridge The bridge is broken. Help find the missing number that completes the number order to build the bridge. You can press the Arrow buttons to choose a number and then press the OK button to confirm. Or you can press the number buttons directly to give your answer 11.
