The Galaxy 2 Series 2-Way Voice Kit consists of a TP800 2-way voice speaker-mic and an Audio
Terminal Board (part number A233). The 2-Way Voice Kit only operates with the Galaxy 2-44+.
The Galaxy 2 Series Audio Terminal Board is a connector that allows 2-way audio communication (speak
and listen) between the panel PCB and the Alarm Receiving Centre. The Audio Terminal Board is
connected to the TP800 speaker-mic which allows audio communication via the on-board PSTN/Modem
or the plug-on GSM module. The Audio Terminal Board is fitted to the main PCB at the location shown
in the diagram below.

Warning: Make sure that all power is disconnected when working with the Audio Terminal Board.
Installation Instructions
A. Audio Terminal Board
1. Fit the Audio Terminal Board to the pins of the audio header on the main PCB.
2. Make sure that the orientation of the Audio Terminal Board is the same as the illustration above.
B. TP800 Speaker-Mic
1. Remove the screw at the top that attaches the front cover to the back plate.
2. If necessary, carefully prise the top cover from the back plate with a screw driver.
3. Remove the knockout hole from the back plate.
4. Attach the TP800 back plate loosely to a wall using screws through the elongated attachment
holes. This will enable the wire from the Audio Terminal Board to be fed through from the back.
NOTE:
The TP800 can be adjusted for audio levels. Refer to the instructions supplied with the
module for further information.
