Band Selection
(Menu 8.7)
For the phone to make and receive phone calls, it
must register with one of the available networks.
Your phone can handle either of the following types
of networks:
• GSM 900
• GSM 1800
• Combined GSM 900/1800
• GSM 1900
The country where you purchased your phone
determines the default band that it uses. When you
travel abroad, you must remember to change to an
appropriate band.
1. When Band Selection displays, press the
Select soft key.
2. Press the or key until the appropriate
option, GSM 900/1800 or GSM 1900,
highlights and press the OK soft key.
When you select a new band, your phone displays a
confirmation message and then automatically
searches for all of the available networks. Your
phone registers with a preferred network within the
band.

Downloads

The Downloads menu contains several menu
options.
Sounds
(Menu 9.1)
In this menu, you can download melodies from the
t-zones portal by T-Mobile and view the list of the
melodies downloaded or received by multimedia
messages. You can also obtain various information
about music from t-zones.
The Download more option allows you to
download melodies from the t-zones portal by T-
Mobile.
Using the t-music option, you can view various
information about the music, such as hot news and
rank charts, from the t-zones portal by T-Mobile.
You can set the downloaded melodies as the current
ring tone or send them to other phones.
Pictures
(Menu 9.2)
In this menu, you can download images from the t-
zones portal by T-Mobile and view the list of images
downloaded or received by multimedia messages.
If you set a photo as your wallpaper, it displays by
the name of My Photo.icn on the list.
