Using T9 Mode

T9 is a predictive text input mode that allows you to key in any character using
single keystrokes. This text input mode is based on a built-in dictionary.
To enter a word in T9 mode:
When you are in T9 mode, start entering a word by pressing the 2 to 9

keys. Press each key only once for each letter.
Example: To enter "Hello" in T9 mode, press the 4, 3, 5, 5, and 6 keys.
The word that you are typing displays on the screen. It may change with
each key that you press.
Enter the whole word before editing or deleting the keystrokes.

When the word displays correctly, go to step 4.

If the word doesn't display correctly, press the
alternative word choices for the keys that you have pressed.
Example: Both "Of" and "Me" use the 6 and 3 keys. The phone displays the most commonly used choice
first.

To add a new word into the T9 dictionary:
Press the keys corresponding to the word you want to add. Alternative

words display in a drop-down list.
At the last alternative word, the word Add displays. Press the Add

Enter the word you want to add using Alphabet mode, then press the OK

The word is added to the T9 dictionary and becomes a word for the
associated keypress series.
Note: This feature may not be available for some languages.

Using Number Mode

Number mode enables you to enter numbers into a text message. Press the keys
corresponding to the digits you want to enter.
