Menu functions
•
Ring tone: select a ringtone for the call ringer.

Volume: select a ringer volume.
Keypad tone

Use this menu to select the tone that the phone
sounds when you press a key.
• You can adjust the key tone volume using
[ /
] in Idle mode.
• This menu may not be available, depending on
the font type on the dialling screen.
Message tone
(Menu 9.4.3)
Use this menu to set up the ringtone for incoming
messages.

Alert type: specify how you are informed when a
message comes in.
•
Tone: select one of the several message tones.
•
Repetition: specify how often the phone informs
you of a new message.

Power-on/off tone

Use this menu to select the melody that the phone
sounds when it is switched on or off.
Slide tone
(Menu 9.4.5)
Use this menu to select the tone that the phone
sounds when you open or close the phone.
On-time alarm
(Menu 9.4.6)
Use this menu to set the phone to sound an alert
every hour on the hour.
Silent mode
(Menu 9.4.7)
Use this menu to set how the phone acts to alert you
to a specific event in Silent mode.
Extra tones
(Menu 9.4.8)
Use this menu to customise additional tones for the
phone.

Minute minder: set the phone to beep every
minute during an outgoing call to keep you
informed of the length of your call.
